We have now completed our fourth vertical of corporate media production: Live Broadcast.
More importantly, the first time we delivered this fourth offering was for Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in Bengaluru.
Today, we completed the live broadcast using our completely in house production setup. The entire workflow was managed by our own team and infrastructure, from camera feeds and video switching to audio, signal routing, monitoring and streaming.
This marks an important milestone for us. We can now offer the four major verticals of corporate media production under one roof.
1. Pre Production
Planning, scripting, creative direction, production planning and preparing the complete workflow before production begins.
2. Production
Professional photography, videography, multi camera production, corporate events, conferences, exhibitions and other on ground media requirements.
3. Post Production
Video editing, corporate films, event highlights, social media content, reels and other content created from the production.
4. Live Broadcast
Multi camera live production, video switching, audio management, monitoring, streaming and PCR workflows.
Our First Live Broadcast Setup
For this broadcast, we used our own in house production infrastructure.
The setup included:
- Professional cameras for live video capture
- HDMI connections for reliable video signal transmission
- ATEM live production switcher for video switching and production control
- USB connections for capture, monitoring and computer integration
- Audio mixer for managing and balancing broadcast audio
- Production monitors for monitoring video and signals
- Dedicated computer setup running OBS Studio for streaming and broadcast management
- Signal routing and monitoring throughout the production
The combination of dedicated hardware and software allowed us to manage multiple video sources, switch between feeds and deliver a controlled live output.
OBS + ATEM Live Production Workflow
Our live production workflow combines dedicated broadcast hardware with the flexibility of software based streaming.
OBS Studio handles the streaming and broadcast side, while Blackmagic Design ATEM provides professional live switching and production control.
This gives us the flexibility to configure the setup according to the event, venue, number of cameras and streaming requirements.
